Metal Garage Door – Canadian TV host loves Martin's copper door

The Canadian version of Mr. Home-Improvement is high on Martin's metal garage doors.

Shell Busey hosts a weekly show for the Canadian Broadcasting Company in which he teaches people how to handle home maintenance from the complex to the simple. Recently he aired a show in which a Martin copper door was installed on a Canadian home. During the broadcast, he raved about a number of Martin's safety features, as well as the real copper metal door.

"Obviously Martin has thought of all the accessories and features recognized as important for a door," Busey said at one point during the show. He also raved about the door's packaging, the Finger Shield™ as well as its track support system. "The tracks are unbelievable," he said.

Busey interviewed one of Martin's dealers, Dennis Baitz of Door Pro in Surrey, B.C during the eight-minute plus segment. He also interviewed Martin Door Regional Sales Manager Jarl Jacobson about the specifics of the copper door and some of the safety features that make Martin doors unique.

Martin Door employee John Mathews was one of the two installers shown during the broadcast, clad in white gloves, installing the copper door.
